North Hays County Fire/Rescue located at 400 Sportsplex Drive in Dripping Springs, Texas is a combination department consisting of a career and volunteer staff. We provide services to 281 square miles of Northern Hays County. The department has 9 stations located in and around the surrounding areas of Dripping Springs, Driftwood, and Henly, Texas. Station 71 is located in Dripping Springs and has a full-time crew on duty at all times. Station 74 is located at the corner of Belterra Drive and Sawyer Ranch Road and has a full-time crew on duty at all times. Volunteers are on call at all times and often staff other stations within our department.

TRAINING OFFFICER

$90,002 STARTING + 20-YEAR STEP PLAN

The Training Officer oversees fire rescue training per SOP Section 200-03. Requires 6+ years with North Hays County Fire Rescue or TCFP-regulated department, Texas Class B license, Texas DSHS EMT-Basic, AHA BLS CPR, TCFP Structural Firefighter Intermediate, Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor II, NWCG Wildland Firefighter Basic, TCFP Driver Pumper Operator, NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, 800, and Swiftwater SRT-1. Advanced certifications preferred. Apply by August 1st, 2024.
